LEAP Specializes in helping children with neurological disabilities and improve their gross motor abilities through therapeutic activity, movement and play. While each therapy session will vary from child to child LEAP Physical Therapists always engage their clients with a loving and challenging approach that encourages growth and achievement.
We believe in an intensive therapy approach when treating children with neurological disorders in order to see significant progress. The intensive model is a three week program ranging in hours per day, intensity and therapies. Based upon the therapists recommendations in collaboration with the parents and/or child’s goals each intensive therapy program is individualized to meet the specific needs of each child. Children can achieve significant progress in the matter of three weeks that is typically observed after completing one year of traditional therapy.
To put it into perspective, we always tell our parents “If you went to the gym for three weeks straight for at least two hours a day; can you imagine the change you would see in your body?” The results from an intensive program are unparalleled and invaluable to not only the child but their families as well!
If you have any questions about whether your child would benefit from physical therapy please reach out to us. We would love to help!
